HISTORY

F. Tarkin Jones
Gamma Nu Nu Chapter
Served: 2024 – Present

Under Bro. Jones the following was accomplished:

  • Headed Corridor IV Delegation to two District Conferences and the 2024 Tampa Conclave where two Second District candidates were elected to the Supreme Council.

  • Led efforts to reactivate or maintain good standing of all undergraduate and graduate chapters by Spring 2026

  • Re-established the current Corridor IV website with Bro. Michael T. Muhammad

  • Continued Corridor IV CookOwts in Plainfield and during the Football Classic.

  • Expanded Corridor Awards to Citizens

  • Inducted xx new Brothers across the Corridor during Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.

  • Established the use of metrics for partnerships/sponsorships.

  • Established Corridor IV Challenges for Scholarship and Food Drives.

 

Leon M Smith II
Omicron Chi Chapter
Served: 2020 – 2024

Under Bro. Smith the following was accomplished:

  • Supported the vision and strategic imperatives of two Second District Representatives (2020-2024)

  • Led Corridor during covid-19 pandemic and post-pandemic phases 

  • Revolutionized Corridor MSP program leading to unprecedented outcomes for new brothers and high participation and engagement levels from brotherhood 

  • Team approach has led unprecedented corridor unity (North, South, and Central NJ)

  • Led efforts to reactivate or maintain good standing of 11 of 12 undergraduate chapters by Spring 2024

  • 2021 Second District Corridor Representative of the Year

  • Assisted in the establishment/chartering of Gamma Nu Nu chapter.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. purpose is to bring about union of college men of similar high ideals of scholarship, and manhood in order to stimulate the attainment of ideas and ambitions of its members; occupy a progressive helpful and constructive place in political life of the community and nation; and foster the humanity, freedom and dignity of the individual; and aid downtrodden humanity in its efforts to achieve higher economic and intellectual status.
